My Board is Nearly Saved...
After struggling with a pool of tomato stain, I scrubbed and soaked… My board almost looks like new. Hopefully a few more sessions will make it more bearable.
I used salt and vinegar, as instructed by many tip sites, but this really did nothing but clean the surface. So I tackled the wood with some vinegar and baking soda, allowing it to bubble and soak for about twenty minutes. Then I rinsed the board and covered it with more dry baking soda and left it overnight.

I hear Cat Litter is good for removing Oil stains from driveways. I wouldnt recomend it in this case. Although I have heard wonderful things about Gritty Kitty. I do believe I still owe you a new Food Dehydrater. Anyone want to make Gummy Bears?

I guess you’ll never let me forget about my idiocy, so I’ve posted for all to read. Thanks for making me relive my embarrassment.

I just thought you would like to know the Apartment you lived in when this happened had a kitchen fire. The Apartment was completly destroyed. The big clump of red stuff on the carpet was finnaly removed.
What are friends for. PS. They still had the same crapy stove and oven that was in the apartment when you lived there. I saw it when they started repairing the Apartment.
