My Board is Nearly Saved...

After struggling with a pool of tomato stain, I scrubbed and soaked… My board almost looks like new. Hopefully a few more sessions will make it more bearable.

I used salt and vinegar, as instructed by many tip sites, but this really did nothing but clean the surface. So I tackled the wood with some vinegar and baking soda, allowing it to bubble and soak for about twenty minutes. Then I rinsed the board and covered it with more dry baking soda and left it overnight.

I hear Cat Litter is good for removing Oil stains from driveways. I wouldnt recomend it in this case. Although I have heard wonderful things about Gritty Kitty. I do believe I still owe you a new Food Dehydrater. Anyone want to make Gummy Bears?

I guess you’ll never let me forget about my idiocy, so I’ve posted for all to read. Thanks for making me relive my embarrassment.

I just thought you would like to know the Apartment you lived in when this happened had a kitchen fire. The Apartment was completly destroyed. The big clump of red stuff on the carpet was finnaly removed. :) What are friends for. PS. They still had the same crapy stove and oven that was in the apartment when you lived there. I saw it when they started repairing the Apartment.
